You start the day by putting your bare feet on the earth. Re plug yourself. Before you put on shoes. Get your tools together. There are promises to keep. Chores calling your name.
Yet, here you are, with your fingers on the keyboard. Not doing anything "important"per se, but looking out the window, chipping away at the chore list intermittently, wasting time. At least I'm dressed.
I'm still getting used to having time to myself. I need to get away from noise and the phone, and practice my Essene rituals. I skip around from task to task. Remembering a chore, then forgetting it when I see a hummingbird perched at the feeder in the backyard. And dreaming about building a greenhouse. And trying to listen to the plants, the essence of life.
Let's go.
