Mar. 31st, 2025 09:40 pmIt’s my friend Kathy’s birthday on the first, my friend Amy’s on the second, and my sister Catherine’s on the third. I remember them all because they are all three important women in my life. One birthday after another….
I’m exhausted tonight after a long weekend of rock shows and friends and fun. Saw some great shows at the Treefort Music Festival, which was conceived and executed by a group of friends I love very much. It appears that it is here to stay. This was lucky 13.
My Substack column is going to be ruminations about people who complain about things, like forms of entertainment, and other people daring to have fun.
Now, admittedly, I do have a naturally jaundiced view of the fun other people have, but this is my thing. And I’ve attended every one of them. And played it 4 times with my band.
Some people like to hunt, some people play golf, or go camping, or glamping or whatever. I like to wander around, see my friends play, meet new friends, get my steps going, and be inspired.
I love it.
